Andrea is an HBCU graduate, international business leader and board member with work experience across the US and Europe. She began her career in biopharmaceuticals and healthcare before moving into global higher education and education technology. She has worked for Fortune 500s and multinationals, including Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and The Social Hub, and formed partnerships with the global campuses of Stanford, NYU, Syracuse, Georgetown, and many more. Andrea brings over 13 years of experience in global higher education, leading teams as Vice-President and Head of Sales.
She was the co-founder of the first online travel media platform for young women, traveling the globe and scoring 6-figure sponsorships with television networks, brands, and hotels and travel companies, like Ford, BET Networks, TVOne, and Choice Hotels. Andrea has appeared in Essence, Black Enterprise, Huffington Post, Uptown Magazine, and other publications. Andrea has traveled to more than 50 countries, experiencing national and international culture through interviews with historians, chefs, artists, political leaders, and celebrities, including Steve Harvey, LaLa Anthony, Gabrielle Union, Tia Mowry, and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

Valecia is passionate about global education. She graduated from business school with a dual BS/MBA degree from Florida A&M University, and joined the corporate world, working at Hewlett-Packard and Accenture. She later graduated from Georgetown University Law School with her J.D. degree. After a career in management consulting and law, she founded a global language company to spread awareness of the benefits of speaking multiple languages. The company contracted with teachers and tutors to teach children Spanish, French, and other languages.
She applies her skills and dedication to transform educational inequities, deliver high-quality instruction, and pursue positive learning outcomes for students and parents in her community through an approach that is forward-thinking, innovative, and where every student receives attention. Valecia aims to empower students to take control of their learning and prepares her scholars for success in school, college, career, and life. She enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures, fueled by her international travels during her college years, when she journeyed to France and Italy during her school breaks.
