At HBCUs Abroad, we believe that learning is a continuous process that should never end. Our mission is to provide high-quality study abroad courses that are accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience. Faculty-Led programs offer a wide range of courses in various subjects, including business, technology, health, and more.
HBCUs ABROAD offers its own Program in Italy. Faculty-Led and Customized study abroad programs provide students an opportunity for professors to experience and teach courses overseas, while bringing a group of students from their home university (or other affiliated schools if applicable). Faculty-Led programs are currently only available in Florence. Faculty and students will have full use of our host partner's campus facilities and labs, though you have the city of Florence as your classroom! Professors plan many on-site visits to local museums, palaces, and other points of interest. The learning does not have to end in Florence, since the city, located in the heart of Tuscany, is strategically located for traveling with ease to other Italian metropolitan cities such as Rome, Venice and Milan. Our field trip coordinator can assist with the organization of visits and travel.
