Increase the number of under-represented students that study and intern abroad and drive higher participation from HBCUs. By bridging the gap to global experiences, we help students build international networks and career-ready skills.

HBCUs Abroad is embarking on an ambitious goal: to increase the number of first-generation college, historically underrepresented, and non-traditional students that study abroad before college graduation, by becoming a pathway via funding, partnerships, and awareness.

Our leadership and advisory team are comprised of senior leaders from global higher education, K-12 education, the corporate world, and law. We've studied, interned, or lived abroad, and half of our team matriculated at an HBCU.
