Our study abroad offering provides students with world class learning opportunities, professional development, and cultural experiences.

The semester and year programs provide the biggest opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a true transformative experience, due to the amount of time spent abroad. The year long program will help to leverage your language skills the most as you navigate life as a 'local'. The fall semester program runs from September through December while the spring semester program runs from late January through May. Students can earn 12-16 credits upon the successful completion of their courses.
The summer months provide an extraordinary time for students to partake in a study abroad experience. Florence is buzzing with activities and events. The short summer programs provide the opportunity for students to take part in a 3-week program, while still leaving time for students to return home to intern, work, or travel to other destinations.
The winter break program provides an opportunity to study abroad during the winter holidays, usually starting immediately after the Christmas holiday. Check back for our December 2023 program.
Independent short-course programs take place during Spring break. Programming for Spring 2024 to be announced soon.
The summer months provide an extraordinary time for high school students to partake in a study abroad experience in Florence. The short summer programs provide the opportunity for students to take part in a 3-week program and enjoy the richness of this Tuscan city.
Our accredited partner university offers a unique 3-week summer opportunity for high school students to participate in a cultural, academic, and professional development offering in Italy. Students may select from an exciting range of Liberal Arts, Arts, and Business courses, as well as participate in field trips and supervised afternoon activities such as sports and discovering the city of Florence. Selected courses prepare students for college entrance and the transfer of credits. Students will also be in involved in a Business and Professional Development seminar that features introductions to global companies.
We know that housing plays a major role in a student's study abroad experience. Housing is centrally located and is a short walk (maximum 20-minutes) to campus. Students are placed in student accommodation with resident advisors in shared apartments with their group members or in a student residence. Facilities include kitchens so that students may prepare their own meals, as well as washing machines and drying racks. Dryers are not always readily available in apartments, though they are usually present in student residences and modern student accommodations.
